Oh yeah, if you enjoy Out of Focus I guarantee you'll take something out of this. Although that is one of my favorites on the album.

That's what I like to hear.
This gives me the same vibe as Like Pacific. I think I am really going to end up enjoying this.

I haven't heard Like Pacific, so definitely throwing them on my radar now.

I think the vocal delivery between the two is pretty similar, which is my favorite part of Like Pacific, and also why I think I am going to like this pretty well.
I would say this guy has a better clean singing voice, but the way they do their more gritty/shouty stuff is pretty close.
Both of Like Pacific LPs are great, but I am not familiar with the EPs yet.

Like Pacific is underrated, his voice is perfect for the sound they make.
This band keeps coming up on recommended and I've heard a few songs so I gotta check this.

This is probably my favorite pop punk release of the year so far

I highly, highly recommend the new Kayak Jones! Keza recommended it on the last page and I’ve been listening to it non-stop and just reviewed it. Not only is my favorite pop punk of the year, it’s going toe-to-toe with Copeland for my favorite record of the year period.
Not to say I’m not also loving this one, cause it’s pretty great too =)

Noted, thanks! I’ll have to check that

Yeah, I was surprised by the lower avg of Like Pacific's first album. At least their 2nd LP got a little better reception here.
Gonna check me some Kayek, too.

This is pretty good, haven’t got into a pop punk album in a min

This is excellent! I'm very glad to see how much they have progressed since their early stuff. My favorite release from them will always be Everything I Used To Trust, but that EP in particular is very special to me. Also drummer goes ham, my dude's fills are nasty.

I really dig these guys. Unfamiliar will probably still be my favorite but this is no doubt a great follow-up.
Am I the only one who prefers the recording of "Right Now" off of the Unfamiliar deluxe edition? I miss the bass tone and crunchier guitars on that album.

Yeah the bonus version of Right Now is better for sure.
This gets better the more I hear it, title track is the best thing here.

Want to come back to this. I don't think I ever finished listening to all of it.

Rose by the Ocean and Out of Focus are probably my favorites atm.

The title track on this is still in my top five tracks of the year. Gotta revisit this whole thing soon!

The title track is so great. There's some average stuff on here, but that song keeps me coming back.

The title track is what made me bump this up. Every other song is probably between a three and a four, but that title track is pretty much perfect. Still in my top five songs of the year

Steady Glow was my favorite for a while but I just connected with Rosé by the Ocean quite a bit lately. Literally been running thru my head constantly since Friday. Album really grows on you
