Most of the album looks like it is up on youtube, just not as a single playlist.
I actually kind of think some of it reminds me of earlier Grand Unification style Fightstar on some cursory listens.

Strawberry Place definitely stands out as quite odd, but I actually found it charming after a few listens. Got some Stranger Things vibe. Definitely a debatable one though.

I think it was mostly the vocal effect that was being used. I could have gone without it or something a little less...
...obnoxious sounding, maybe. Not sure how I want to describe it.

Totally get what you mean, had the exact same reaction at first. Just began to like it after a few spins because it sounds like a little robot singing about his identity crysis or something lol and the melody creates a gloomy Stranger Things atmosphere.
It's not a song that reflects the rest of the album and is very experimental, although the used electronic sounds still somewhat tie it into the whole thing.

This was pretty engaging, but at the same time I couldn't really feel any profound impact from the material. It was solid and not much more beyond that beyond some choice moments.

Yeah I thought about giving it „just“ a 4 due to some flaws like the feeling that there is something missing at the end of some songs and maybe I‘ll lower it at some point. But particularly as a debut it really surprised and captivated me with its varied in several cases really powerful tracks. Glad you liked it!
