ixora without twin synced up is like 4th place but its a close second to this with the twin synced up. generally vry difficult band to rank esr onward bc all of that material is phenomenal

this is the first one that grabbed me which might be why i hold it so close, but the albums incredibly warm atmosphere particularly provided by all the mellotron going on in the background make this record feel like a hug to me lol. their last 4 are all incredible to me tho and the latter records are going for something a bit more artful than this particularly is so i understand how a fan coming on w those two might not be quite as into this. glad you digging it at all tho
also goddamn every silence shouldve been on here one of my fav tracks they ever did

album is so damn close to being perfect all the way through. could kinda do without what do i know but ive had every silence (which is imo one of the most beautiful tracks theyve ever written) in its place for well over a year now to the point where i forget its not actually on it lol. everything else is outstanding and among my favorite music ever made
