Yeah I can see this getting some cult-ish following, as in ''hey, this isn't as bad as people say''. I seriously doubt there'll be a significant difference between how this album is received nowadays and how it'll be received in, say, 10 years though. Don't think it'll be hailed as a masterpiece or smth like that haha.
This album still stands as one of the recent examples of a major label (Warner Bros, Vertigo) releasing experimental/weird shit.

Lou Reed was only good when he was part of the Velvet Underground, without the other band members to reel him back his music came off as ridiculous and obnoxious.
