Aye Sint what happened to that low average competition? You've completed what, three albums now?

To all those who do not like the way that i approached the review:

It your absolute like to not like something, but i did not want to do a detailed breakdown song to song, as this was not my problem with the album, and I underlined numerous times that it is great in terms of musicianship. Instead I wanted a more personal approach, which is based on the way that I listen to music: I never listen to single songs and always play the entire album, without paying attention to minutes etc. and if i do not like the entirety of the album, no matter how many good spots there are, then it is not a good album for me. And there was its greatest problem, for me it was dull and unsurprising, which is the worst thing for a band which aims to be -progressive-. You could literally predict the intro to the album by the time that you heard the mellow guitar work at the beginning, something that was happening throughout the album. If you think that progressive means using odd-time signatures and creating lengthy solos, then sorry but we have a wildly different definition of what progressive really is.

petrucci needs to ditch the 15 string guitars and go back to the liquid tone he had on images

gotta say the keyboard solo on track 3 is surprisingly tasteful but then it goes back to the silverstein chorus

Reform liquid tension with the production of this album and with the riffs being like the best ones from this album thanks.
