It is indeed. This is possibly the most important album I've ever reviewed.

That cover art makes me gag.

Oh shit Marty Friedman is on this

Cover art reminds me of Yes' Fragile.

This is honestly not that great as a stand-alone piece of music, but with Becker’s personal story I’m glad he was able to put this out.

good review
tip: if you start a sentence with a number, as you did in the second paragraph, the number should be spelled out

It's pretty great, agreed. By my #1 so far this year is 24-7 Spyz' new joint which is just as joyful and almost equally life-affirming.

This is a great review for this piece. I'm humbled by Becker's accomplishment given the hand that was dealt to him.
I think this isn't music I particularly enjoy listening to, no matter how well done or how achieved through the extraordinary circumstances. I agree with the one commenter who mentioned that this album is worse as a standalone piece without understanding Becker's backstory.

Yeah it's not a perfect album by any means, but it some of the songs here are on regular rotation for me and the monumental effort it took to make it alone makes it an unassailable classic.

Need to find the physical form of this. Such endeavours need all the support they can get.
