i love the way this album flows.
Really? I don't particularly pick up a distinguished groove and/or flow to it; more like alot of good songs in a sufficient order.

Yeah I have to say that I agre with Bron on this one. Although the album lacks any filler and is solid throughout, I find any noticalble flow to it.

Man, I can't say enough about how much i love this album. Jesus Christ, When the Leevee Breaks has been stuck in my head all day. The harmonica solo and the basic chord progression may have been ripped off, but Damn, if it is ripped off, it's a Goddamnit good one! Oh well, i'll stop kissing their a$$ for a second and go back to listening to them. Damn. though. This Message Edited On 08.02.06

I don't get it, didn't most albums in the 60s/70s only have 8-9 tracks so that they could fit onto 8 tracks?
In my opinion, this albums a bit overrated, but still amazing, I prefer HOTH to this one
|
| |
^I am also quite partial to HOTH, I don't listen to this album very often (maybe once a year) but when I do it takes me back years.
Exellent album.
|
| |
Yeah HOTH is great and so is this but I think I'm really getting into Physical Grafitti right now. It keeps repeating itself in my head.

So, should I believe the hype? Of course not. Never believe any hype. What you should do, is purchase the album and see whether or not the hype will come to you. Brilliant conclusion. I really do adore your writing style, and you do clearly know your stuff. Every single one of your Zeppelin reviews is damn perfect, and VERY convincing.

This album just rules so damn much. Going to California should build up more and they shouldve not used Four Sticks though.

I rated 4.5, but I honestly think it's a bit overrated.
II is better IMO

Don't talk stupid. It's a classic.
I remember watching a live dvd where they perform Stairway, and it's one of the greatest guitar solos I've ever heard/seen. Almost couldn't bear it.
