Album Rating: 4.0
I feel that if any album can be reviewed using a track-by-track, it's this one. Good review, too.
I do have a very specific, grammar-nazi-esque nitpick, though, and you can ignore it if you want, but...
"From it's iconic bassline to the infamous Motown 25 performance of this song"
The use of the word "infamous." Infamous means to be famous for something bad or negative. Al Capone is infamous--he's famous for being a criminal. Michael Jackson's Motown 25 performance is not infamous. If you want to add emphasis as to just how important this performance is to the legacy of the song (and Jackson himself), you might instead try a phrase like legendary, iconic, star-turning, or immortal.
