Why would you even compare Lennon to Kurt Cobain when John Lennon clearly dominates Cobain in every aspect of music?

The hippie dream, as Mr. Lennon would so elegantly state, was dead by 1970. So perhaps "Imagine" could even be considered cliche. I, however, love it, and it is currently engaged in a fight to the death with "Let it Be" for greatest piano ballad ever.

^^^^^ I read my previous comment and cringed at doing so, I was listening to a lot of Nirvana at the time and for some unknown reason called Cobain a genius? All he did was Bastardise a genre and make it into something more commercially acceptable.

Found this album lying around and foolishly didn't listen to it, album is rather great I should actually listen to the beatles one day too...

john lennon is the maker, he could have turnt music into any direction if he wanted to, and without him, who knows music nowadays cud be even shitter then wat it is now..

This is quite a good listen

is there an album of just john lennon like playing piano or guitar solo and singing...i think that would be a potential 5/5

i too am a mccartney fan but must admit how do you sleep is a pretty good song. one of my favorites off the album.
