This album genuinely rules - it's just too short. It's super funny, but there's actually some surprisingly tasty and beautiful melodies on here (chorus of Space, Hope, end of Making of Love) and Woman Time is a ripper. Opinions are weird and subjective, but it makes me laugh that my primary issue with an album most of you dislike is that I wish there was more of it.

Yea no. This album is hilariously bad, it lacks the charm and depth of their other records, there is hardly any meat on this record, with countless skits and jokes that have been beaten into the ground, this is truly an awful record.

Just saw them last night and they were absolutely incredible live. Jack Black's range is fucking insane to see in action and they're all ridiculously talented and hilarious improvisers. Still in shock at how good of a show they put on.

these guys have a few token songs I enjoy but for the most part I've always found it hard to get into parody/comedy music

Maybe some people just think differently? I love Flight of the Conchords and other comedy groups, I enjoy Tenacious D's past material, this record is just hot garbage. That being said I'm sure their live show is still pretty great and I'd still love to see them live despite disliking their newest record.
