Fair enough then. I like the songs available so I guess I'll pick it up sometime.

It's a very consistent listen so I don't think you can go too wrong if you like the tracks available for preview. There are a few ambient passages linking it all together so you won't get 'five more songs in exactly the same style' - though 'Sever me' and the sung sections of 'Losing' are just as great.

Then you have 'Spider' that's the odd one - like 'Toy' from 'The Opiates'. Wasn't sure at first but even that one grew on me a lot to the point it is actually one where my ears prick up a bit when it comes on. Catchy I guess.

It's also available through other sources if you feel that money is an issue

It's all cool, dude. I'd rather not pirate if I can help it. There are enough songs available on bandcamp to give me a good idea.

Earlier this year Damien Jurado left a gap of around 12 weeks between the release of his new album and when it started streaming on Spotify--so this still might show up there in the future.

True. You gotta wait a little for AOTY to come out.

I doubt this will Twig, Feiner’s old stuff isn’t on streaming services either.

That's too bad. $24 is a lot these days. I didn't realize how much I paid because it was in pounds, lol. But no regrets, well worth the price for me.

These days I either end up spending approx £1-£3 on a second hand album or something is rare and I end up forking out £25-£50. Sort of balances out.

Obviously most stuff I just stream and leave it at that, unless it’s special enough

Yeah, say what you want about Spotify, streaming has opened up all kinds of music to (almost) everyone for a modest price.

Yeah, this is definitely chamber-y... I can't stop thinking that the music sounds just like the frozen pond on the cover looks, and feels like the sunken boat feels--but maybe I'm overthinking it.

Having a hard time getting into this one, pales in comparison to The Opiates.
