I feel like since this album pretty much has like 8-9 different sounding songs its hard to gauge the album sound from a song haha. I think Tilt, Through Glass, and Half-Hearted are my favorites so far. Plus Overthinking from before. Monster is just alright even though its grown on me quite a bit, and the first half of Black is meh. But that heavy ending is fantastic for them.

Through Glass and Half-Hearted are probably my two least favorites on here tbh

One of my favourite bands. Certainly not too difficult to accept the change since so many bands i've grown up with have been doing so lately (Parkway, Amity, BMTH etc).

Monster is epic. Tilt is classic HLH. Through Glass is getting a run at my wedding, it's goddamn beautiful. Bad Dream has really grown on me. Overthinking is a solid lead single and I still jam it as hard as I when it came out.

BUT..

Black is the worst song they have ever done. Already been skipping it and only on about my 4th play through. Also some songs feel like they end a bit abruptly.

Still a 3.5/5 at this early stage. I had Dissonants at a 5 though.

I'm liking this a lot more than I expected. I think I'm gonna review the album, just to get my thoughts down

I like the comparison to Bad Dream and 451 even though 451 is one of my favorite BN songs and Bad Dream is just...pretty decent.

Tilt sounds so cringey, I don't get the hype for it. Through Glass gives me hope that these guys could still make a beautiful album if they wanted to.

But man, what if they made a heavy album like the end of Black

I enjoy Black more for how it builds to that moment. I wish this band would completely turn off the heavy but that's me.

I completely agree, Grey. These guys could make a great pop record. The heavier songs are the weakest here.

Bad Dream is real good though. Really surprised me that one especially after I was ready to slap a 1 on this after the lifeless dreck that was the previous record.

I think if they did a totally heavy record it would be awesome. They keep showing flashes of it throughout but it always is kind of out of place.

What's with the opener? I really dig it but man...I feel like it should have turned into something epic.

Monster isn't bad but I feel like Kingdom Come could have turned into the biggest thing they've done. This album almost reminds me of the most recent Turnstile...a lot of awesome ideas but cut too short

Tilt best here, everything else bit average. Missing catchy songs like degrees of separation etc

The hate for 'Monster' is surprising. It's so bloody catchy and energetic. I may be loving on it harder after attending WWE Super Showdown last week where it was the theme music though. Was awesome as a big stadium song for an event.

I couldn’t sit through this album the way have with their first 3. These guys stood out and were different with their original sound, but now I couldn’t even tell who this was if I were to hear one of their new tracks playing in a bar or stadium. “Monster” is not only horrendous, but it’s a complete ripoff of Bring Me The Horizon’s “What You Need”, which isn’t even a good song.

I like this more than I thought I would. It's too short and feels more like a collection of wannabe radio hits than a full album, but man these songs are really fun. The pop-centered sound suits them well, and as a whole the record definitely feels fresher than Dissonants and its super generic song structures. I wonder how long this will take to wear off...
