Haaaaard bro, every song is so damn good with great riffs and awesome melodies. Feels like a mid 2000s metalcore album and shit, it's super rare I'd enjoy every song in the track list.

Some of the 4+ minute songs should be shortened, but that's the only issue I see. Strong 4 for this one.

The title track is cool but I really don't see a lot more interesting melodies on this record

Bloc you just got into them recently right? Feel like I would appreciate this album a lot more if I hadn't been listening them do the same shit for yeeeears.

Haha yeah pretty recently. Though I've heard all of their albums, and they were all 2.5 to 3, but this one stands out so much more than the rest. Really glad too because I've kinda been missing some shit like this.

the production literally ruined the whole album for me, I think the album itself could be easy a 4 with a better production

For some reason the bands that are in the media the most, and probably have the largest fanbase, always struggle to adequately produce their records. Atleast it sounds better than that single they put out because they fixed it afterwards lol

Oh I remember how people (me inclusive) spammed reddit and their youtube channel so that the label notice that we don't want this bad production. I was so glad that they changed this saturation but the production is overall still shit.

This review was very well, written. You might be in the wrong line of work, sir. It is also incredibly accurate. I hadn't thought about the outros that way, but I think you're quite right. I did enjoy "Glasswalk" and "Knife of Gold," though. First listen to this band, so I'm not so jaded on them, but I did find it to be very sort of..mainstream sounding. Like, "Black Flame" seems like a movie theme, and that annoyed me very much. Anyway, it isn't that terrible if you like melodic metalcore, but they made absolutely sure to color inside the lines.

I think this record is very catchy and I seem to get back to it a lot. I hate clean vocals in metal most of the times, but on this record it works really well. Nice melodies. Nothing too fancy but very effective.

Most annoying thing is that the production is super easily fixable with some basic EQ'ing... way too much mid in this master...
