"feelings on how it felt to grown up a gay man"
think you meant grow
"This is also the perfect time to discuss the mastermind behind the songs Sam Melo who could easily be compared to a modern day Freddie Mercury in both charisma and (almost) in talent."
I'd put a comma before and after his name
Otherwise, grammatically on-point. Only advice I'd give is to cut down on unnecessary descriptors (I'm bad at this too), like "I feel that with time for most anyone, this reveals itself to be their true best foot forward so far." That could be accomplished just as effectively with "With time, this may reveal itself to be their best foot forward." Not nitpicking that one sentence so much as offering more of an overarching view at your prose; readers are lazy and want concise language. Pinpointing what you want to say and extracting the key points will improve your writing.
With that said, this is a great review (I pos'd) and I like your style of writing. You infuse the review with a blend of breadth and depth that only someone who truly knows the band could do. I've seen so many reviews - including some of my own - where it's unclear how well the writer really knows the band, their backstory, and how the album came to be. Your authority is never in question here because you establish such a knowing tone early. This increases the effectiveness of any descriptions you make because people will assume you are an authority on the band. Even if you aren't, it's still an asset to your review.
tl;dr version: great review, strong tone and overall prose, could eliminate some adjectives that add little/no value which would simultaneously improve flow...as you do this, maybe toss in some descriptive language that helps the reader "taste" the music and heighten intrigue, as opposed to being (albeit very professionally) instructed. that's about all the advice I can give I think.
