Got this for four quid the other day in Asda!
Havent listened to it properly, but the things I'd already heard, Kashmir, Trampled, Ten Years Gone, Houses etc. are all great.
Good review!

"This is better than Stairway in some people's opinions, and I really do think it is"

Kashmir is a suberb song but better than Stairway to Heaven?- I DON'T THINK SO!!!

This is one of those long double disks where you have to ignore some of the songs. Zeppelin were experimenting and made some pretty bad songs which they packed onto 2 records with their good ones. Really, it didn't have to be a double disk. The majority of the 2nd disk didn't have to be in there but I guess they can do whatever they want. I usually only listen to the first disk if i'm using a cd player.

So I wouldn't give this a perfect score but I'd rank it highly.

4/5 c'mon. I don't rate it as highly as HOTH or LZ IV, but it is pretty close (I mean I did give it 5/5).I give it a perfect score, but there are no ratings for 4.7, 4.8 or 4.9. there is a lot of musical creativity and fantastic lyrics on a fantastic album, it's a shame this album really was LZ coming near the end of their peak.
