This is coming from a fan of theirs I don't like this one. Some of the songs are so so but the main chorus ruins it a lot for me in these songs.

heard the single on the radio. it's incredibly radio-rock-by-the-numbers
never gave a shit about godsmack from the get-go but was still pretty disappointed, at least thought they might do something mildly interesting

This record is basically 50% Breaking Benjamin, 50% Nickelback. It seems so obvious that is who Godsmack are trying to mimmick here.
"Bulletproof" was moderately catchy, but most of these songs are downright unlistenable.

I was at a handful of those early shows after their self titled and awake came out... those were sweet, innocent times.

The first two albums were a masterpiece. Godsmack was way different then other bands at that time. A lot of songs had big phases of jamming ( Immune, Time bomb, Mistakes, Vampires). Now they have become generic rock which sucks because the industry is full of this shit and Godsmack is way more talented.
