Dewi if you rate this a 3 then Mer du noms would have to be a 5...and then Aenima would have to be a 5.5...and then an actually really great album would have to be a 6/5 minimum

lol I think I 5'd Mer de Noms, I honestly love that one. The rest not so much. I also just watched a Revolver doc about good ol' Maynard making wine and I softened a bit I think. Kinda like the guy.

Yes, I did mean "barren." Auto-correct works against me at times. I 5'd "Mer de Noms" in a previous review a while back. I enjoy this side of A Perfect Circle a lot more than I expected. I love how seamlessly the elements of "Elephant" work with each other. It reminds me of Elliott Smith. The music is heavy where it counts. A song doesn't need distorted guitars and upped bass to be dark and gritty.
