This is incredible. The drumming on this drives everything with purpose. Expect this to get 5'd before too long.

this is actually way better than I expected, though I keep feeling like I'm listening to a sub-par hotelier record. hoping that thought will pass with repeated listens.

yeah this is gonna be a 5 soon, the melodies on this are wonderful and the atmosphere is impeccable, this kinda hits the same spot as bands like frightened rabbit but with more energy
early AOTY contender i think

7 more hours until I can leave work and go home and spin this. I'm not wasting my first listen on computer speakers.

After my first playthrough...holy shit. I expected this album to be good, but not THIS good. Instant 5, no debating that. I'll even go as far as to say this is instant AOTY for me.

this is excellent, nothing groundbreaking but still really enjoyable regardless.

Good review dude. I've enjoyed everything they've done from Old Pride to Keep You, and from the four songs I've heard from this so far I feel like I will really enjoy this one as well.

Album is great, but I absolutely disagree when you say it's "everything Keep You should have been." I'll need to give this one a few more spins, but so far Keep You feels much more memorable. The melodies and guitar leads really get stuck in your head. And you also had Repine, which has to be the best song they've ever written. This album doesn't really have any Repine moments. Or Legion moments. Or Late Lives moments. I strongly suspect that most PBTT listeners were mad about the style change, talked shit about Keep You, then had a few years to grow up and let their taste mature, and are now more "ready" for this style. Keep You is at LEAST as good as this, I just think a lot you need to revisit it.

I'm kinda getting a Gates vibe, but I liked their transition more so than this one. Hoping it will click

It's not Keep You, it's Wait For Love.
We're discussing Wait For Love.
