Anna is a little similar to and about as good as Fazerdaze for me, which i know you both dug, so i'm a bit surprised you're not to warming up to her haha.

dan, maybe that one's more a 3.3 and this one's a 2.7 ;)
this wasn't bad but no individual song made much of an impact, where the Fazerdaze had a couple I instantly liked a lot

I've spun all of this once and the first two songs three times and I've got to say that's how I feel about this so far.
I'm not really defending Fazer too much as that could drop to a 3, I barely ever reach for it, and this could climb to a 3 if I return to it down the line. Either way, not too blown away.
I quite like the easygoing '90s worship alt guitar work, her songs and lyrics didn't hook me.
Who was the similar '90s throwback lady last year - waxyerhatchy? I file this alongside her for now.

The songs are a bit too uniform on the Fazerdaze but the overriding sound I prefer, as you say budgie - a good voice

I think this is very different from Fazerdaze or Hazel English, both of them being dream pop while this is just straight out singer songwriter stuff.
