Most think it's better, but I haven't heard it yet.
Get The Scattering of Ashes though. I've heard it already and it's insanely great.

Will do. It's one of my most anticipated albums of the year, actually. This Message Edited On 09.18.06

The Scattering of Ashes is an instant classic in my book...every song on there is worth more than just a listen

I still think BIO reigns supreme, but TSOA comes in close second. This is still in third...even though I've grown to like it more, it's still a bit early in their career. You can still hear some of the immaturity in their songwriting.

I'm reviewing Scattering, I started early.
Sadly, I wont be blindly praising it. Don't get me wrong, I friggin love the album, but I want to be as rational as I can.
I definitely agree, though:
BiO > TSoA > DoD > IE (which shouldnt count).

I can't decide whether TSoA or BiO is better. Buried has better musicianship but The Scattering is much more contained.

I'm not a fan of this album. Buried In Oblivion is easily IE's best.
