Yes, it's hard to pick one best prog rock album. But for those that picked this one, I certainly couldn't argue with them.

I agree with you Diva. Probably I prefer "Selling England By The Pound". But this one is very close.

Your reviews were always very emotional. This is why I like to read them. But this time you surpassed yourself. Awesome review for an amazing album. Have a great pos.

Thanks Intruder. I really appreciate your comment. It did very well for my soul, indeed.

Never been too much of a Yes fan... Good review tough. You inspired me to give them another listen.

Nice ElHombre. Do that and maybe you can change your opinion.

Thanks.

The t/t from about 5 minutes onwards sounds like something you could let play while you chill in a bar by the seaside, I love it.

I think that my favorite prog epic in general could be Camel's Lady Fantasy though

Good choice, Sab. Mine could be KC's ''Starless'', or Strawbs' ''Vision of the Lady of the Lake''

Those are all great choices my friends. I are with you on all of them. But they are also many others that could be mentioned here, even of those bands, too.

"The reality is that so many called progressive epics have been little more than a collection of individual tunes strung together to masquerade as a larger work."

That's an interesting point e21. I've never thought about it before, but of course it is true . . . This has always been in my top 5 albums of all-time. I love every second of it. I know the title-track should be my favorite, but "And You and I" has always been my number one. I love them all so much; it hardly makes a difference--even "Siberian Khatru." :-)

Yeah, usually we don't see that many epic tracks, despite being great epic tracks, are divided into several parts.

It's the same for me Twig. I always loved this album and it's one of the albums of top.
