Wish I liked this more. Last three songs are decent, the rest don't do much for me. Each song sounds like a different band, like they had no idea what their identity was anymore.

Marcella and All This is That are the only songs I really care about on here but damn they're great

Don't love Marcella, but All This Is That is pretty easily the best song here imo. I'm hoping this grows on me with more listens though. It's just kind of a bummer. Sounds pretty awful and the Ricky/Blondie tracks are just completely generic and forgettable.

if you haven't heard Holland yet it is a stunning improvement over this one lol, proves they could make a great album without Brian at least once

Yeah I'm getting into Holland too and agreed it towers over this lol. Only gave it a second listen yesterday so not overly familiar with it but I'm liking it a lot, could see it growing into one of my favourites.



But yeah I can't say the same about this. Gave it another listen today and it's just so meh apart from All This Is That. It's crazy how much stronger the surrounding albums are.
