"If You See Her, Say Hello" is definately one of the top 2 or 3 songs here.

Yeah, probably. But aside from that, the best songs are in the beginning.

What about Shelter from the Storm?

I really like "If You See Her, Say Hello" too. "And I've never gotten used to it, I just learned to turn it off. Either I'm too sensitive, or else I'm gettin' soft"

Shelter from the Storm falls into the pool of really good songs on this album, while the aforementioned songs are exceptional masterpieces. There isn't a track that comes close to being bad or even average, but in my opinion the other songs aren't on par with the first four (Except If You See Her, Say Hello).

Question: How can some people claim Desire is better than this?

This is a great album! Meet In The Morning is an awesome track, If You See Her Say Hello has phenominal lyrics, and Shelter From The Storm is my all time favourite Dylan song.

I've been listening to this more again, like as much as I did when I first got it. It's probably my 2nd to 4th favorite album. Blood on the Tracks is amazing.

Fans of the album should check this out. You can listen to the original versions of some of the songs, and two outtakes. Be sure to listen to Up To Me. It's a great song, and would have been right at home on the album. This Message Edited On 02.10.07

this album is better than blonde on blonde .

Time out of mind from more recent years has a similiar feel song wise to blood on the tracks and is almost a classic in itself.

I would say they probably listened to the opening track and thought, "Wow, Hurricane is so good the rest of the album must be, too!"

But seriously, Hurricane > Desire

I'm thinking of getting this, even though Dylan isn't my sort of music, I should try new things. That's how I got into Bowie and NIN. Great review as well. I rate you :thumb:

Of the 6 Dylan albums I've heard so far, this is the best. It might go up to a 5 for me with some time.
