I'm very glad to see another review of this album, here. A review of an album which is widely considered as one of the masterpieces of hard rock, as well as one of the cornerstones on which symphonic prog metal was founded.

Really insightful review. Didn't think this site needed another for Rising but I stand corrected.
Quick nitpick, "which lead to an epic offering that had no precedent" should be "...led to..."
