This just isn't ... good. The fact the dude died shouldn't cloud judgement.

Album Rating: 4.0
Five of the past nine ratings -- all of which occured after his death -- were a 1.0; this album has a 2.3 average. I agree that his death shouldn't cloud judgement, but the implication that it has in this case (in particular if you're referring to the reviewer) is untenable. If you weren't implying that, however, I respect the fact that this simply isn't your thing.

This isn't my thing at all, that's for sure. Giving this a 4 just seems incredible to me is all.

this is pretty enjoyable mood music tbh. His flow & bars aren't that impressive, but i dig the instrumentals, and he can definitely write a catchy hook even if sometimes the lyrics aren't the strongest.
|
| |
yeah he has this weird thing of making a whole song sound like a hook, it's really cool imo

beats are usually the best part yeah

Beamer Boy?

coming back to this after listening to the new Wicca Phase, and wow i wish this whole tape/EP got more recognition other than “Beamer Boy”. almost every track here cohesively flows together, and never overstays its welcome like some Peep songs can. plus California World with Craig Xen is one of the most ethereal minimalist trap bangers i can think of outside of something like Carti would do.
