"christopher geriak invested in this album being released so if you want anyone to blame for that album cover look no further than him"

look no further than the band, I didn't make it.

I feel like a different tracklist would've helped make this record slightly better, the first half is so disjointed, with a track like Still Alive being put between these two slow, brooding songs, then random being followed by two pop songs.

@Toon what do you think of the Gone remix and the acoustic Unstoppable version though?

I had hoped that there would be more substance in the deluxe tracks. Maybe some people really enjoy acoustic versions and remixes but to me it just seems like fillers.

Good review. I don't think I'm quite as disappointed with this release as you. It's not nearly as good as their first two albums, but it isn't bad. I like the electro-pop influences that have crept into a couple of the songs. I didn't finish the album because I listened on the way to work, but there's a series of power ballads somewhere near the end that definitely kill the momentum.

idk when they do the electro pop stuff it just sounds like diet Starset, a band that isn't even really that good in the first place

I guess maybe that's why I quite like this album... because I actually really like Starset and it's the same producer. But it's still not their best work, that's pretty much undeniable.

Not a terrible album, but not as great as Red usually is. Certainly a big step down from the masterpiece that was Of Beauty and Rage. I feel like if the title track and Coming Apart had been omitted, the lyrics to Unstoppable were fixed, and the tracks were ordered more sensibly, then this could have been amazing.
