I had major doubts that I would even merely tolerate this album, but to my surprise, it's quite a good album. Nothing mindblowing, but a pretty solid release for a few enjoyable listens.

The lyrics on this are pretty hit or miss honestly. You will hear lines on this album that you have heard before, but what really sells them for me is the delivery. But yea occasional cliches hold this back a little bit.

This is growing on me. It's still a bit of an inconsistent mess, but there's some heart behind it all. Under The Gun is a genuinely stellar track. Just wish the album as a whole was as urgent as that track.

The drums on this are indeed fantastic. Dude manages to pull off the hardest trick of them all, make intricate parts sound simple and simple parts sound inspired. First track alone is a perfect example of this.
