For the most part this is just bland, though there are some cringeworthy moments and Wow is offensively terrible. Overall this just feels kind of forced on Beck's part, nothing interesting going on here and it's really lacking in personality even though it's not well enough made for what it is. Stylistically it doesn't appeal to me at all; I have no reason to listen to this other than the fact that it's a Beck album and tbh that's a pretty bad reason to listen to it more than once or twice. Light 2.5, maybe a 2.

lol i guess beck gets the legacy pass at this point for mailing it in with lyrics like in 'wow'. i wouldn't call it humor, although it's funny people give him credit for it at this point. that song is brutal

Talons - not particularly. Only really heard Odelay and a bunch of singles and nothing really interested me

Real Pet Shop boys vibe on this album.
