Agreed, I saw her live on TV once and she sucked.

Really? I saw them live and her voice was good. It wasn't as good as studio, but it was almost as good.

My sibling has a live DVD of Evanescence, and she isn't really that bad.

hmmm...maybe when I saw her she was just having an off day, or had a cold perhaps.

Personally, I like the stuff. Sure some of it's slow and leaves the band with "little to do", but the kind of stuff she sings about in some songs wouldn't sound as well if it was done fast. A lot of the slow songs are done to really let it all sink it, let you know what she's saying and such instead of just rushing through it.
I couldn't listen to almost any of these songs over and over, but most songs I'm like that with. Even with my favorite band I can't do that with most of their songs.
As for Imaginary itself? I like how the 3rd verse drops to just her and a piano then jumps to the guitarist. It works well together. *shrugs*

The music on this album is a 2. Amy Lee's voice drags it up to at least a 3. Their first album was better (Origin). Better versions of the songs. Sounded a lot less like they were trying to make money. LOL.

I disagree I think with Amy's vocals this is a 2 at the most. What possesed you laugh out loud at the end there?
