Fine, I have no problem with that. It's just is it really worth bringing this debate back up if you're not prepared to fully justify your opinion. The same can be said for Whole Lotta, what is the point in chasing such a ridiculous argument?

Ugh... I didn't bring it up. Rocksta did, and I offered my opinion. You're really the only one keeping it going, and I'm done debating this. There's no flaw in my argument, as it's based on opinion. This Message Edited On 06.26.06

I'm pointing out the flaw in this argument, no more. This way we may never see it arise again. This Message Edited On 06.26.06

Anyway, to steer this back on topic, and to let the argument bleed to death, I'm thinking I like II the best right now.
|
| |
il second the opinion on II, more rocking than zozo IMO. That was an amusing argument to read too..

I agree that the Beatles were more consistant than the Zep, but personally a like the Zep better.

The Beatles > Zeppelin, just for the record.
I think this album is definitely one of Zeppelin's stronger efforts, but I also like II the best. I don't listen to it much though, I have to be in a certain mood to sit through a Led Zeppelin album.

I also find I have to be in certain moods to listen to certain types of music.

Really? Prove to me that I'm wrong. Personally, I think one could build up a much better case for the Beatles, but all in all it's only an opinion and therefore can't be right or wrong it's just a matter of personal preference.

lets think logically about this. Jimmy Page>lennon or harison
JPJ>mcartny
John Bonham>>>>>>Ringo
Robert plant maybe a little worse than mcartny

Beatles have much more song range and evolution, think "i want to hold your hand"-"helter skelter"

Who cares?
|

whats that mean? also id contest that physical graffitti beats zozo by a fair stretch as its more consistant.
|

Stompybeardo is right. The Beatles sang almost everything.Back in the ussr, yesterday, help, helter skelter, piggies,Lucy in the sky with diamonds and many many more....Personally I find th Zep quite boring.I don't say that I don't like them but I prefer the Beatles. Both groups are two of my favourite.

Wow. This argument should just die already.
|
| |
i think aristotelis closed it there, as i dont hear any die hard zeppelin fans counter arguing. However i would say that page is at his best in zozo and graffitti
|
| |
Firstly page kicks harrisons ass big time in the guitar department
Mcartney is one of the most overated "musicains" ever and ringo just filled the drum seat.
The real genius in the beatles in John Lennon, he is equal to anyone in led zeppelin.
Overall led zeppelin is a better group musically, and I don't know about you guys but I listen to music for the music. and not because the band is popular or how many hits they had.
|
| |
Without Lennon the beatles would have just been another forgotten british invasion group.
The Beatles are good but the Zep are better.
