It's all good, all good, all good
I'd bury you myself, baby, only if I could
Seems you'll have to rot on the 14th floor
Until the smell is through the door, couldn't ask for much more

The last half of this album is incredible. Revenge Song through to The Fold Up is an immaculate run. The Fold Up is devastating.

all out is top-tier synth pop. the album reminds me a lot of tears for fears' first album except way more into dark wave territory.

I knew he had potential after couch potato and some of his old tracks as spooky black like "forest sounds" but didn't think he'd be able to pull off this sound so well

Good review, but I’d suggest you learn the difference between emo and goth. Because this is definitely more of a goth and post-punk record. The 80s style production of this album with ties to darkwave and synthpop, the incredibly dark lyrics, and even the cover itself which looks grainy and retro. The only thing “emo” about this record is perhaps the singing, but then again there’s post-punk singers who have sung with the same style and intensity; Robert Smith and Ian Curtis for example.
