Some respected users derpin' hard
I considered 'The System' and 'Guilty Party' classics before this came out. The other two pre-releasers are just a shade behind.
Closer is incredible. Loving 'Walk it Back' on a fourth try. 'Dark Side of the Gym' I wanted to consider a classic due to the title alone but have to admit it hasn't sparked on subsequent listens to the extent I expected after the first listen.
Early days but this is clearly aoty material.

Walk it Back might be my least favorite so far... I feel like the extra production layers weigh it down, I'd prefer a more stripped down version.

Doof, we can find just as much beauty in our differences as we do in our similarities.. as every movie ever made has indicated..

The trouble Doof is that I hold this band to higher standards than anybody else operating. Eventually this will carve out its own shape in my heart but for now it's hard to extricate it from the shadows of High Violet and Boxer

Picture me channeling Fassbender minus boggly head...I LOVE YOU ALL, I LOVE YOU ALLLL
Never doubt I respect you all and all your glorious differences.
Just don't anyone say anything bad about The National again - not on this day of all days

Anybody feel like Nobody Else Will Be There is somewhat awkward as an opener? Feels more like a closing track to me.
