AOTY for me

Also big pos, review is phenomenal friendo

Where can I watch the movie?
|
| |
It's on a limited release in the US. It'd be worth checking the smaller cinemas near you; otherwise, you'll probably have to wait till it gets a wider release (if it does at all), or till it's on the internet.
|
| |
it's unlikely that'll get a wider release, considering that the studio is A24 and i think they stick to limited releases

Big, big pos especially for the opening, really conveys what kind of a mood the album establishes. Will check the movie too.

True, Friv. We'll see/hope, though, I think Room had a wide release(?) and The Disaster Artist might get one, too.

This thing gave me a whole new appreciation for Garden of Delete when returning to it.

Anybody see the film yet? Just got back from it, pretty satisfied with it.

Why can I not find this album streaming anywhere besides Spotify and Apple Music? Bleghhhh. Just got back from seeing Good Time and it's my film of the year so far and I need to hear that soundtrack again. I NEED IT.

Trying to get into this but compared to 'R Plus Seven' or 'Garden of Delete'....it's a bit too conventional/predictable, though I'm sure it works really well alongside the film.

Nice review, I also love this soundtrack. Awesome movie, together with Blade Runner: 2049 and Dunkirk my favorite movies from 2017.

the soundtrack drives the film, so found that the best way to experience it. uninteresting as a standalone

this movie was fucking great
|
| |
heaven knows what deserved this kind of soundtrack
|
| |
Large parts of this literally sound like cheap tracker music from the 1990s put through generic atmos effects. In that case one is better off with most of what Siren and Necros did back then.
|
| |
The movie was rly boring and overhyped to all hell
|
| |
the movies are kind of whatever to me, though I ended up liking Uncut Gems more. But I hate it for Daniel. Say this a lot but for me the jumping the shark moment is Garden, which has his great chaotic instincts but almost all yoked to this lame rote final boss vibe
And then these came out and they’re not LPs but idk yea he’s an A24 soundtrack guy to me in 2023. Or like too much so. Rifts is interesting to think about tho
