My critique might be because the write-ups are on ostensibly similar albums like you noted (written in close succession). And yeah it's hard to advise on something intrinsic to your style, I'll likely think differently when you review something more confrontational (that Brockhampton review was a great choice as it's out of your comfort zone). Band name helped catching my attention initially
