I don't mind the new vocalist tbh I preferred Jake but the new guy seems competent enough

As for this album I'm really digging the heavier songs like Benzaiten, Deadweight and Escapist, the rest of the album is still growing on me but I'm happy with it

It's about what I expected from the singles. It's a fun album that has some good moments and some bad moments. I really like the new vocalists cleans and I think his screams are more consistent than the old vocalist. My main complaint is that sometimes the cleans and breakdowns just seem thrown in at random and can kill the momentum. I think these guys have a truly great album in them, they just need more time to refine.

I was not ready for this hot garbage. Hansha is especially egregious. Imagine an off-key Beiber impersonator bitching at you for looking at your phone too much while an average progressive metalcore band chugs in the background.

The new vocslist is NOT better than James whatsoever. He might technically be a better clean vocalist but his cleans are cringe worthy. It's a shame.

I actually really like the cleans, for the most part. Like I said, there are times that they seem thrown in at random, but the guy has a great voice. His screams are also more varied and powerful than the old vocalist. This album was basically two steps forward and one step back. I think their next one will be much better if they just trim the fat and refine their sound.

Two or three songs show weak promise, the album as a whole is awful. I regret my decision.

I hope that this pushes metalcore to new sounds! It has been stuck in this same old sound and this is a great change of pace! The experimentation with time signatures is great!

I love jakes newer lower growls in the deathcore sense, but his Higher screams dont touch James's. But Great album. Blew me "out of the water" ;). Favorite song - Birthmarked

You know, at first I did not like the new guy, but he has a great voice. I think their next album might be amazing, as this album has quite a few highs but also a couple deep lows. I actually prefer his singing over his screaming as his highs and lows can get quite tiresome compared to the last dude. Dope record overall though, you'll most likely enjoy it if you liked the first one. More of the same stuff.

I don't like the Japanese elements all that much, and while Jake is by no means bad, James was way better. This still has some really cool moments tho, drums are fantastic. Hansha is godawful lmao
