The closer is a beautiful gem. My current top 5 picks in no particular order would be "Giji Necromancer", "Hakudaku", "En", "Mannerism..." and "Naburi".

I can certainly see why you rate it so highly. But it's like any latter day Diru album; so many layers to unfold, it requires more time to digest.

My top 5 would be tracks En (best on the album), mannerism na tsumetai souretsusya, gunya ketsuron, hidauta and Naburi I guess but I love almost everything here, high 4.5. I'm also partial to how fun Shiryou no Ariana and Kubitsuri Yuugu are.

I'm not a fervent nutcase on all things Diru these days, so I haven't come across anything yet, but has there been any other news regarding a new album? They dropped that single last year and there's been nothing since (so I'm aware).

Nope, they keep doing the Mode shows with Macabre going on right now, but no news on the next single.

They're performing new material on the Mode tours and Die is going into the studio next week (either for Dir or Decays it was not specified) but minus that, nothing. The new album won't be until next year, these Mode tours take priority and in my eyes they're making the right move. Mode of Macabre has just finished so there is only Mode of Withering left, can't wait for the release of Mode Uroboros and Marrow in September :D

Based on some reports I read months ago when they played a new song live during the Mode of DSS tour, it might be a heavy ballad-y song, a la "Lotus".
