I'm still calling it Zoe-nigga until the spelling is changed to indicate otherwise.

the Tibetan pronunciation of མཛོད་ལྔ is mdzod-lnga. For practical purposes I transliterate it as "zone-gah."

From Seven's early post.

"most are synthesized... I run it analog to force myself to actually play each part in real-time with natural inflection."

Although the ear can play tricks, it sounds to me like the acoustic guitar, electric bass, harp?, strings (violin?), are all sampled. As for the distorted guitars, I am struggling to tell because they are quite thick. The clean guitar in the intro to The Wolves Fell Quiet almost sounds real, but once the drums kick it it starts to sound like it's being played on keys. The drums are real. Compositionally it is excellent in my opinion, but if you focus too much on what's real or fake it may ruin the experience.

Thanks Dungeon, that's well said. One French webzine wrote a scathing review that focused a lot on what was and wasn't synthesized, while the positive reviews have focused on the songwriting and atmosphere.

Zippa you don't need more reasons to hate this. You've made your feelings clear.

The polarizing opinions you've managed to elicit with this album are rather impressive

I wasn't looking for reasons to hate anything but I was under the impression that you played the guitar?
