Totally agree with your points though I do feel the album still does have its merits - on occasion, anyways. Don't know that I can do another full length by them with their current direction, though. And the production...ugh. You can definitely tell that Nolly from Periphery mixed and mastered this thing because it totally misses the point. You can barely hear the bass on this (and they have great bass) and everything else gets turned down unnecessarily constantly to emphasize this dude's B grade singing.

Disagree with the rating but well-written review nonetheless.

Excellent review, though I didn't have time to listen to the whole thing. Not impressed by Vivid, for sure. You might want to correct Such the Fool for Such a Fool, besides that, really good review.

I've always had it as Such the Fool on my copy of Trees are Dead, is that wrong?

Also yeah Panzer, I didn't go into the production because I thought the review might become a little ranty but it's definitely not a strength of the album in any way

Every Sikth album is interesting. This is their 3rd best project tbh. With Opacities and Death of a Dead Day right above it.

Order doesn't even matter to me. Sikth has never dropped anything bad. This album continues their godly streak.

Actually found it to be quite enjoyable, vocals are very.. different, also liked the little dialogue in between tracks

If Spencers feature in Cracks of Light is just the harmonies in the chorus, then thats not needed lol
