I remember playing this vinyl when I was a wee lad. Well I was too stupid to actually play it myself, but you get the idea.

This is a very nice review of a great compilation. I'm glad you are still with us. :p What can you say about The Beatles. A band so great with songs so good even compilations seem as good as fully fledged original works. This album is aces. I sometimes put this and the "Red Album" on a loop and just listen to it all day. Superb. This Message Edited On 06.05.06

To what extent have you partaken in the gift of The Beatles?

The White Album will take any boredom away, sonny.

I concur. But Magical Mystery Tour is better.

Lack of Harrison numbers

True say. But i'm glad they put Old Brown Shoe in there.

Even though it's nowhere near my favorite, it's still a pretty nifty tune. But I would have preferred they put on something like "Savoy Truffle" instead.

I picked this album up for a whopping $10! It is a very nice compilation of the best years of the world's most recognized band.

Why doesn't someone edit in the release date? It's April 19, 1973

Other than that, this is a great album. This Message Edited On 10.21.06

Great comp. Fave track would be 'A day in the life', I never get tired of hearing that one.

Yeah this is a great compilation, but it doesnt have "Tomorrow Never Knows" or "Within You Without You", which are my two favourite songs by them. I love all their stuff, but their psychedelic songs more especially.
