I saw this band (Ho99o9 as well) tonight after some friends who were already going to their show convinced me to go see them live (we’re all fans of the support band on their current US tour, Street Sects) and I gave this album a listen last night. Wow, this band is awesome. They put on such a killer show and gained a new fan.

I think Slavegod's my favorite track on this thing...and it's not because its name sounds so Godflesh like either! Spinning it on vinyl just now, this album sounds so massive yet it's not brickwalled either. What I find quite impressive is how tight the drums are especially live. They got that mechanical shotgun sound that screams industrial which I just love.
