I disagree on one point you made earlier Doof, it holds together as an album, maybe in the most intended way, the whole is so much better than the parts, as an ALBUM it surpasses revolver and rubber soul, but I like to other 2's individual songs better, same with AR

This is probably my least favourite of the Beatles classics (this, Revolver, White and Abbey Road) but it's still a hard 5.

Could never get on with Revolver as much as most people, it's great stuff for sure but a bit inconsistent imo

I'd say it's pretty darn consistent imo. Stylistically varied, yes, but it's all good stuff.

I guess I meant more in terms of song quality than album flow. I can live without "Good Day Sunshine" and while everything else is good at the very least, I find that very little matches up to, say, Rubber or Abbey.



What I will say is that "Eleanor Rigby" and "For No One" are top-tier Beatles, and "I'm Only Sleeping" and "Tomorrow Never Knows" aren't far behind.
