Wonderful review, I love the personal approach you took with it. It's great to hear someone who has this kind of perspective, definitely sheds some light on some elements of the record that I hadn't noticed before.

For example, that nineteen line on "LOL" you mentioned; from my perspective, I didn't quite understand what they were getting at. Your second paragraph led to the pieces coming together for me and getting a good idea of what that line would mean to someone who had their own experiences that parallel that line.

Ummm Big Beautiful Day kinda sounds like a Japandroids song, and there's maybe some Neutral Milk Hotel in the title track. Other than that I have no idea.
