@Kyle: It's a bit odd to expect him to drop the bass thump when it's arguably the signature characteristic of his sound. It's deployed throughout the GAS project and in different contexts - I find it fascinating to ponder over what it contributes to the tracks. I definitely understand why someone might find it irritating, but that's an issue with the artist's aesthetic rather than a particular record.
