I finally bought the D/D duo today, and started with Deliverance. I am completely blown away. I've heard almost all of the album online, except the last minute of Wreath and how it all ends, but I was still skeptical that it would be more than a 4 or 4.5 even when I actually listened to it in the right format. Instead, it gets a full 5.
I don't know what Opeth was doing with By the Pain I See in Others, but I know they were doing something right. Deliverance is an album I'm going to have to listen to more to fully understand.
I will share this review soon.
