That song with chris martin is one of the lamest cash ins I've ever heard.

real talk I actually love that song

it's cheesy and simplistic but it's miles better than anything else I've heard from chainsmokers

oh sure, they definitely follow the same template. and chainsmokers is far, farrrrrr from the only artist working in that template

but chris martin's a wonderful singer with great tone who can absolutely slay a simple song like that, so I like their collab a good amount

I think the most baffling thing about this band is that if you choose pretty much any edm artist on soundcloud, they're almost all better in any way imaginable

Chainsmokers found the perfect formula to appeal to teenagers on Facebook and Tumblr who constantly repost and reblog and like those "inspirational" quotes about life and love copy/pasted on top of pastel backgrounds and pictures of the night sky because it totally "gets them".
