young thugs chorus in ice melts is more creative vocally than anything drake has done on the record

On first listen I thought this was really good. After a couple more, it's solid. The features are a mixed bag (Giggs is awful, Thug is alright, Travis Scott is never good), and the playlist/album/whatever is just way too long, as every Drake project has been since NWTS.
After the first two tracks, the following five or six cuts are mostly really good, but then Drake starts rapping again, and the album grows tiresome.
It's infinitely better than Views, which was essentially garbage on tape, but this still has lots of issues, and is way overhyped

drake overhyped?

I can tolerate his music enough but his fanbase is so annoying

his fan base is like the entire world

Drake is like those kids who live in Surrey but want to pretend they're from London so they wear Adidas tracksuits and listen to Section Boyz

I remember when I used to hate drake more than anyone..then I stopped being a bitch and embraced the greatness
|

drake would be 5 (maybe 6 HA) worthy if only he could mesh the aggressive, no bullshit mentality that resided in IYRTITL, and meshed it with the CRAZY pop hooks on songs like marvins room, and even darker, atmospheric trap beats like shown on free smoke. instead he chooses to be on some pop shit, this bullshit dancehall wave. If he could drop that and drop a conceptual, dark, straight up hip hop/rap record, he'd be the king of the fucking world
instead he just continues to make hit and miss records. sad really
