I actually swallowed back my fear and watched a couple of their songs on YouTube last night. They definitely have something compelling about them, and as a "Threepenny Opera" fan, I could see the connection. Not sure if I could get used to his vocals, though, and I'm big on vocals. On the other hand, there are some bands with questionable vocals I've grown to love, like Black 47, so who knows? Jury is out for now.

If you do check out a "Threepenny Opera" soundtrack, I'd suggest digging up the Raul Julia stage show version.

Two Penny Opera must be the Lillies take on the Thee Penny Opera. Don't you think? They do the Seven Deadly Sins too. Looking forward to comparing them. With the originals.

This is the first album that let me down a little. I wouldn't say it's bad, just not as good as the others I've heard.

Diva - he does mix up his approach to the vocals on different releases...but then again I could understand someone disliking all the styles he adopts

Yeah, this is the weakest of the ones I've reviewed, it might drop to a 3.5 for me. It does lean heaviest on the humour to prop it up. I have to say one thing though, 'Jesus' is good, 'Jesus' is great
