Im a huge fanboy, but I think Eskimo Snow is incredibly powerful. This is actually my least favorite WHY release.

Berkeley by Hearseback, One Rose, Even the Good Wood & Eskimo Snow are songs that I've found to really enjoy over time and not so much when I first heard them. I like his phrasing, lyrics and the subtle, but effective movements in each of those songs. And of course In Shadows of my Embrace and This Blackest Purse are killer. Considering Alopecia and Eskimo Snow were recorded in the same sessions, I like the dichotomy of the experimental hip hop v.s. the indie-folk of the two albums. On Rose Walk, Insomniac sucks tho

Hi from the alternate universe where Yoni kept rapping. The Good Friday trilogy is so banging.

The more Why? I listen to the more certain I become that the first three albums are the only stuff worth keeping around.
