Yeah, the only song I can really take or leave is 'Moptop'

'Time Sands' is the most surprising song here for me, totally different for them, more so than even the closer with the sung chorus

Nice review zak!

"Drayton Manored" was my favorite on first listen, gonna let this one sink in a bit before putting up a rating.

'what a waste of dough - pulling it out when I'm on the snow, fucking waste, didn't feel right as a daytime top' lol

I'm sticking my neck out and saying 'Snout' has the most classic lines on the album

Given this is my first full Mods joint it'll take some getting used to their style, don't want to make the same mistake I made with Spiderland.

I can see how they're a divisive group, the songs seemed a bit tuneless so basically your enjoyment relies on whether you're on board with the guy's ranting.

DIY aesthetic innit, you have to be on board with that

Yeah, the way they put together songs is kind of brave, in a way. It's just so bare and out in front of you. No glitz or circumstance for them to hide behind. lol Live, the guy that makes the beats just presses play and holds a beer.

Live is where this band truly comes into its own. Absolutely legendary.

The way the second dude in the band just presses play and then steps back, dances a little bit, and that's it. Classic.
