"I remember middle school me being entranced by a young Bill Kaulitz when I first saw the music video for “Ready, Set, Go!” air on MTV."

And instantly I feel we have at least one thing in common

I think the last I've heard of them was back in the day of "Humanoid" and on some tracks I actually liked the power-pop approach

shut up with the "rip off" argument it's pathetic.
This cover is clearly making a reference to a specific period of time and style in music and accusing it of "ripping off" anything is pure childish narcissistic double standard.
They're simply surfing on a trend which is starting to get old (=>the eighties are so cool ! And Guardians of the Galaxy isn't dull as fuck !).
Accusing them of "ripping off" anything is pure scapegoating. Someone's been a sucker for the "eighties" trick for something like five or seven years now, and as it is getting old, it's time to become critical instead of blindly admirative. Why not start with Tokyo Hotel ? The band that it was so easy to laugh at some years ago ?

@Monk: Go for it, it's fun time.

@Captain: Same, Humanoid and even Scream had some jams, but this record is just more cohesive.

And thanks for the pos!

the only song i know by this band is Monsoon and it's a piece of shit and if a 3/5 is their best album im going to assume this is a piece of shit too and so is everything theyve ever made.

I'm surprised that they still exist.
But I'm kinda curious now, a decent album?

@Rufin: Monsoon was never their best track anyway, but this is a pretty fun album if you like synthpop

@Dead: I felt the same way, this was a bit of a surprise and I have a soft spot for some of their older songs.

@bloc I am angry at WWE and hungry because I am poor. this is not a good combo for Rufin.

@dfevil085 I do love synthpop but at the same time I hate the German language so I'll have to see
